Do you have goats at Fortress Farms?
Yes, we do! After goat-sitting at our farm for family friends a number of times, we recently purchased a dairy goat and two kids for ourselves. The dairy goats (both resident- and visitor-types) are hand-milked. Jill uses the milk for cooking and for making her luxury body care products throughout the year.
May I visit your farm?
Absolutely! We are happy to show you around so you can see the animals and how we produce our quality goods. Please contact us using the button below so we can set it up!
Why are some items local pick-up only and others can be shipped?
All goods are able to be picked up locally, but some products, like meat and eggs, are subject to food regulations that make shipping unavailable at this time. Our “local pick-up only” items will have a note in their descriptions to avoid convusion.
What are your payment options?
We accept cash and check, as well as Zelle, and Square locally. You can also buy our farm goods online through Shop Iowa, where we accept payment via Stripe, for your convenience. Please note that some payment methods may entail a small bank service charge.
